What our beautiful city lacks in wintery weather it definitely makes up for in holiday cheer. There are so many great events during this time of year and we wanted to share a few of our favorites…
Every year over 150,000 visitors drive through these 3 miles of giant animated holiday displays and illuminated trees at Tradewinds Park.
Parade Grand Marshal Flo Rida will cruise along with of hundreds of decorated boats and yachts down the 12 mile route along the river downtown and up the Intracoastal. Our Boat Parade is listed as one of the top 20 parades in the world and in Readers Digest top 100 events in the country- so make reservations, buy tickets, or have a plan early because this event is huge.
This production has been a cherished Fort Lauderdale tradition for over 30 years. The show features traditional carols and contemporary songs as well as a musical nativity drama with live animals and hundreds of cast members that practice for months on an incredible Broadway-worthy set.
Walk along the 2.5 mile stretch on either side of the New River downtown to enjoy this 10-week celebration presented by Riverwalk and the City of Fort Lauderdale.

A favorite Fort Lauderdale tradition on the festive blocks of Las Olas. You can expect to see local choirs caroling, a snow sledding mountain, santa sightings, a skate rink, and over 60 food, beverage, and holiday booths.
Lauderdale-By-The-Sea | December 3rd 5:30pm-9:30pm
Small town celebration with choirs and carolers, holiday window displays and fun for the whole family.
